It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Riggin Wharton (Crisfield, Maryland), who passed away on December 2, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Riggin and Esther Persis Riggin; her husband Lenox Bramble "Spuggs" Wharton; and her daughter Pam Tawes. She is survived by: her brother Seafood; her grandchildren, Kent Tawes (Amy), Andrew Tawes (Kathy), Neil Tawes (Angela), David Tawes (Tricia), Windi Jones of Tullahoma, Tenn and Dana Somers (Ritchie); her great grandchildren, Carson Tawes, Emily Tawes, Drew Tawes, Landry Tawes, Kate Tawes, Libby Tawes, Conner Tawes, Jamie Tawes, Julia Tawes, Anna Tawes, Taylour Jones, Addi Grace Jones, Teagan Jones, Jaxx Jones, Ava Somers and Caitlin Somers; her nephew William Roy Riggin; her son Nathan of Salisbury; her great-nephew Mark Carey of Pocomoke; and her great-niece Megan Miller of Pocomoke.
