She was predeceased by: her parents, Ewell Laird and Gladys Crockett Laird; her sister Evelyn; her brother-in-law Leslie H. Corbin; and her grandchildren, Christopher McCready and Danielle McCready.
She is survived by: her nephew Michael Corbins; her husband Woody Lee Schoffstall of Crisfield; her children, Jack McCready (Nadine), Shirley McCready Russell (Richard Gallen), Charles "Danny" McCready (Alyce) and Leigh Ann Schoffstall of Crisfield; her aunt Elsie Smith of Georgetown, DE; her cousin Pastor Albert Crockett of Onancock, VA; and her grandchildren, Jackie McCready, Erin Kellogg, Shaun Michael Thomas, Mariah, Jessica Tilghman, Keith Russell, Jr., Stephanie Hauf and Chris. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
