It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Lee Cooper of Crisfield, Maryland, born in Tangier, Virginia, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Lewis Cooper and Amanda Jane King Cooper; his son Johnnie Cooper, Jr.; his brothers, Kenneth Cooper and Lewis "Ray" Cooper; and his great grandchild Jayce Swift.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Cooper of Crisfield; and his children, Amanda Cauble (Rick) of Crisfield, Katie Pruitt (Wayne) of Crisfield, Lori Harrison (Ray) of Marion Station, Crystal Swift (JD) of Crisfield, Eddie Cooper (Andrea) of Tangier Island, VA, Jeffrey "Buck" Harrison (Paula) of Crisfield, Billy Harrison (Dawn) of Crisfield and Michael "Mushy" Harrison (Shelly) of Crisfield. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; his special dog "Bella"; and many friends.
