It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ellsworth Pickett of Crisfield, Maryland, born in Woodbine, Maryland, who passed away on May 14, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edgar and Nellie Mae Walker Pickett; his stepchildren, Suzanne Carey Raimer and Wesley Dean Carey; and his sisters, Doris Pickett and Barbara Pickett Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Blanche Irene Pickett of Crisfield; his daughter Betsy Carey Anderson (David) of Crisfield; his stepchildren, Molly Carey Lane (Geoff) of Jacksonville and Tony Carey (Pamela) of Salisbury; and his sister Nancy Pickett Hand of Bellavista, Arkansas. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 33 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
