She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Elliott of Washington and Nellie Elliott Thomas of Virginia; her husband James Adkins; her children, Samuel Jones, Marylynette, Debbie Whittington and Janice Frock; her sister Gloria McBride; and her daughter-in-law Susan Jones.
She is survived by: her son Chippy Jones of Florida; her grandchildren, David Samuel Jones, Debbie Dennis, Chuck Nelson, Ernest Jones and Shane Jones; her great great grandchildren, Dustin Gene Price, Tabatha Jones and Noah Nelson; her brother James Elliott; and her nieces and nephews, Russell Howard and Pam Sarvis. She is also survived by several other great-grandchildren.
