He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lane, Jr. and Idella Davis Lane; his wife Audrey "Kay" Bradshaw Lane; his son Elmer James Lane; and his siblings, Darlene Lane Handy and Raleigh Lane.
He is survived by: his daughter Jacqueline Lane Crockett (Dickie) of Crisfield; his grandsons, Lane Parks, Dustin Parks and Chad Baker; his great grandchildren, Bryant Parks and Lilah Parks; and his friend Philip Widdowson of Princess Anne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
