Eleanor Ward Nelson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Ward Nelson of Crisfield, Maryland, who passed away on July 12, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Ward and Mollie Cook Ward; her husband Alonzo K. "Buddy" Nelson; and her siblings, Angie Townsend, Rudy Ward and Walton Ward.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Nelson (Lori) of Salisbury and Melinda Sterling (Ronnie) of Crisfield; her siblings, Joy Price (Don) of Princess Anne, Jerry Ward (Fran) of Fruitland, Kenny Ward of Mt. Vernon and Phillip "Ped" Ward of Tampa, FL; her grandchildren, Rachel Colby (Henry) of Princess Anne, Sarah Mister (Woody) of Westover, Josh Nelson (Khrystyna Turpin) of Salisbury, Kelly West (Jeremie) of Georgetown, DE, Scott Sterling (Hannah) of Crisfield and Caroline White of Salisbury; her great grandchildren, Dallas, Dillon, Sophie Mister, Mckenzie Tyler and Camdyn West; and her brother-in-law George "Lawson" Nelson (Julie) of Glen Burnie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
