He is survived by: his stepmother Brenda Gail Price of Baltimore City; his former wife Cynthia Bell Potter of Crisfield; his children, Edward William Gillespie of Crisfield, Brian Gillespie of Federalsburg and Stacy Gillespie of Crisfield; his brothers, Bobby and Patrick Gillespie; his grandchildren, Joshua Gillespie, Abygail Gillespie, Jacob Gillespie, Edward William Gillespie, Jr., J. Gillespie, Robert Gillespie, Albert and Riley; and his close friend Howard Greenhawk. He is also survived by his pet dog, "GaGa"; and many nieces and nephews.
