She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Clay and Lola Mae Dize Crockett; her former husband William Joseph Matthews; her husband Robert Peter Baker; her former husband Along; her son William Matthews; and her siblings, Joyce Dize, Anna Brittingham, Fay Ward and Cyril Crockett, Jr..
She is survived by: her son David Matthews (Judy) of Baltimore; her grandchildren, Theresa Brulinski (Dave), Dave Matthews (Tracy), Cara Roberts (Brent) and Melony Heck (David); her great grandchildren, Megan Brulinski, Lauren Brulinski, Matthew Brulinski, Aaliyah Matthews, Devin Matthews, Mason Roberts and Ava Roberts; her sister Jeannie Thomas; and her daughter-in-law Cathy Matthews. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
