She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Clayton Bednar, Jr. of Crisfield and Michael Lee Bednar (Angie) of Laurel, DE; her grandsons, Dominic Jermaine Bednar, Joseph Clayton Bednar, III, Travis Dwayne Bednar and Michael Joseph Bednar; her great grandchild Julian Bednar; her grandchildren, Ashley Bednar, Tabitha Bednar, Nathan Bednar and Daniel Bednar; her daughter-in-law Carol V. Sanders Griffin; her nieces, Carol Benton Elfstrum, Donna Benton LeBlanc and Joanne Benton Riemer; her nephew James J. Benton; her cousin William "Bill" Staples; and her close friends, Jackie and Nancy McCready.
