She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Payne and Tresa Nock Payne; her husband John Thomas Laird; her children, John Thomas Laird, Jr. and Robin Parks; and her brother Ronnie Payne.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Esley (Charles) of Crisfield, Roger Craig Laird (Teresa) of Crisfield, Brandi Wondrash and Ray Abbott, Jr. of Manteo, NC; her brother Charles James Payne (Suzanne) of Crisfield; her sister-in-law Ella Payne of Crisfield; and her grandchildren, Danielle Del Fin Lara (CoCo) of Phoenix, AZ, Heather Saurbaugh (Jason) of Crisfield, Erica Barone (David) of Crisfield, Kristan Wheatley (Lewis) of Westover, Amber Parks of Virginia and Ashley Crockett (Tyler) of Crisfield. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and several very close friends.
