He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis O'Brien and Daisy Pearl Lee; and his siblings, Jack Lee, Frankie Lee, Donald Lee, Cecil Lee and Mary Jane Lee.
He is survived by: his children, Nicki Lee (Woody) of Crisfield, Kim Lee of Crisfield and Daniel Lee of Westover; his siblings, Faye Jones of West Virginia, Ellis Lee (MaryAnn) of Texas, Thomas Lee (Lilly) of Virginia, Rob Lee (Darlene) of West Virginia, Alice Fleming (Bill) of Virginia, Patricia Joyce (Fred) of Virginia, Johnny Lee (Ruth) of North Carolina, Roy Lee of Virginia and Irvin Lee (Debbie) of West Virginia; and his grandchildren, Logan Howard, Wayne Howard, Jr., Jadeyn, Wynter, Dallas and Brealynn Lee. He is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews.
