He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard B. Wells and Kathryn Harbaugh Wells; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Lewis, Henry George "Skippy" Wells, Howard B. Wells, Jr., Robert H. Sterling and Virginia M. Sterling.
He is survived by: his sister Lula Anne Taylor of Parsonsburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
