He is survived by: his parent Connie Faye Mason Cox; his wife Cathy Lynn Brittingham Cox of Marion; his daughter Christie Sterling (Ryan) of Marion; his aunt Teresa "Snookie" Piskor of Crisfield; his cousin Becky Wharton of Crisfield; his significant other Eugene Evans of Marion; and also Gabby Panzo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
