It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ellen Somers of Crisfield, Maryland, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kirk Sterling, Sr. and Frances Riggin Sterling; and her brother William Terry Sterling. She is survived by: her daughter Tracie J. Somers of Crisfield; her granddaughter Madison Evans of Crisfield; and her siblings, Rebecca "Becky" Waters of Sheffield, CT, Kirk Sterling, Jr. of Arnold, MD and Debbie McLaughlin of Salisbury. She is also survived by several nieces and cousins.
