She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Karl Lehmann and Elizabeth Gaide Lehmann; her husband Joseph J. Garpstas; her children, Susan Hose and Dougie Garpstas; her siblings, George Lehmann and Margaret Siegle; and her great great grandchild Emma Jean Cullen.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Garpstas of Crisfield; her grandson Brian Garpstas of Crisfield; her great grandchildren, Ashley Garpstas (Brian Cullen), Amber Fernau (Alex) and Emily Garpstas; her great great grandchildren, Anabelle Garpstas, Kathryn Cullen, Adam Fernau and Abigail Fernau; and her brother-in-law Donald Braithwaite of Crisfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
