He is survived by: his parents, Michael B. Tipton and Fort Ashby; his children, Steven M. Tipton (Tiffany) and Tara M. Farthing; his siblings, Nona Sears (Michael) of Patterson Creek, WV, Tina-Chantal Cook (Gerald L. "Jay") and John G. Tipton (Teresa); and his granddaughter Nakiyah Tipton.
