He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas G. Barton and Evelyn Barton; his brother William G. Barton (Billy); and his pet Boots. He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Barton (Parsons); his daughter Debra Stotler (Emmett) of Flintstone; his stepsons, Michael Barton and Tommy Barton of Cresaptown; his sister Nancy Barton Cole (Conrad) of Clearwater, Florida.; his grandchildren, Scott Davis of Flintstone, Michael Barton of Rawlings and Janna Mulvey (Bronson) of Cumberland; his great grandchild Aubree Barton of LaVale; and his niece Kimberly Fuller.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Scarpelli Funeral Home (15205 McMullen Hwy SW, Cresaptown, MD 21502). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
