He is survived by: his parent Blanche Fitzgerald; his wife Dora Fitzgerald; his children, Tammy Tinsley (Melvyn Sines), Debbie Moorehead (Rick), Kevin Fitzgerald (Lisa Taylor), Mike Fitzgerald (Jennifer), Rusty Fitzgerald (Natalie), Andy Fitzgerald (Beth Hardy) and Steve Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Janet Martin, Shirley Moore, Norman Fitzgerald and Richard Fitzgerald.
