With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Merry Carol Niner of Cresaptown, Maryland, born in Rawlings, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 22, 2024 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, John McKinley Galliher and Bernadine Galliher (Kasecamp); her husband George Richard Niner; and her siblings, Leona, Gaylord, Buddy, John R., Ethel, Carrie, Nettie, Thomas and Michael.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Todd Niner (Kelly) and Jason Edward Niner; her adoptive daughter Sheri Alt Rotruck; her grandchildren, Waylon McKinley Niner, Winston McKlain Niner and Eljah Dalton Niner; and her stepgrandchildren, Jeromiah Deul Heidle and Zachery Daniel Heidle. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; a whole host of nieces and nephews; her many neighbors and friends.
