He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bittner and Helen Bittner (Burkett); his siblings, Cheryl Kuster, Pam Bittner and Terry Bittner; and also Brian Humbertson.

He is survived by: his children, Eric Bittner (Donna), Aaron Bittner (Dannette) and Kari Spataro (Bill); his close friend Carole Humbertson; and his grand-furbaby Rango. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
