He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel (Barfield) and Clyde R. Hitt, Sr.; and his son Jonathan David Hitt. He is survived by: his wife Donna Hitt (Rissler); his daughters, Beth Maddox (Anthony) and Lori Hitt; and his brother William Hitt (Nancy).
