He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lewis and Lois Jean Lease (Decker); his grandparents, Samuel, Anna Lease (McKenzie), Floyd and Verona Decker (Brant); his uncle Sam Lease; and his aunts, Marie Lease, Eva Jean Goldsworthy, JoAnn Hill and Wanda Shirk.
He is survived by: his brothers, Andrew Lewis Lease and Scott Alan Lease, Sr.; his nephew Scott Alan Lease, Jr.; his great-nephews, Bentley Charles Lease, Gavin James Lease, Talan Parker Lease and Jacob Fisher; and his cousins, Timothy Lease, Debbie Robey, Beth McDonald, Becky Lowdermilk, Lorie Simpson, John Hill, Margie Grogg and Betty Metz.
