With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatrice Marie Haywood (Cresaptown, Maryland), born in Tunnelton, West Virginia, who passed away on February 16, 2021 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Parks and Pearl Parks (Wolfe); her husband Joseph Erlon Haywood; and her sister Naomi Lillian Barr. She is survived by: her children, Steven Lance Haywood (Emerita), Brian Joseph Haywood (Jacki) and Karen Marie Hartung (Troy) of Hagerstown, MD.; her grandchildren, Anie, Liko Haywood, Travis, Trapper Duckworth, Kendra Morris, Michael, Matthew and Meghan Hartung; her brothers, Norman Parks (Rose) of Keyser, WV, Elwood Parks (Rebecca) of Swanton, MD and James Evans (Rose); her brother-in-law James Barr of Grantsville, MD; and her close friend Carolyn Thrasher. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
