It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita A. Cumberland (Crapo, Maryland), born in Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William H. "Homer" McDuffie; her husband Irving L. Cumberland, Jr.; her siblings, William Boyd McDuffie and Katherine Cotto; and her stepfather Dan White.
She is survived by: her mother Phyllis Ivey Eisle; her children, Patricia Cumberland (Joseph Phillips) of Toddville, Chasity Blades (Gary) of Woolford and Irving Cumberland III (Brandy) of Wingate; her grandchildren, Joshua Blades, Brooke Blades, Kori Cumberland, Irving Cumberland IV, Nora Cumberland and Chloe Ann Cumberland; and her siblings, Tony McDuffie of Cambridge and Cecilia Leggett of Fairmont, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
