With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Edward Bittner (Corriganville, Maryland), who passed away on February 1, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward W. Bittner and Ruth Bittner (Kimmel); his sister Catherine Lewis; and his daughter-in-law Julia Bittner (King). He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Bittner (Brodie); his sisters, Shelby J. Hobbs, Eldersburg, MD and Christine Bittner of Cumberland, MD; his nieces and nephews, William Hobbs (Danielle), Alan Hobbs (Michelle, Poolesville, MD), Ruth Semendinger of Chantilly, VA, Kristin Hay of California, Nichole Garzino of California and Morgan Lewis of California; his brother-in-law John Brodie (Nancy, Easton, MD); his uncles, Robert and Frank Kimmel; and his pets, Tori, Leo and Misty.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Unit at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center, 12500 Willowbrook Road, Cumberland, MD 21502; or, the Barrelville Presbyterian Church, Post Office Box #194, Corriganville, MD 21524.
