He was predeceased by: his parents, George Chester DeHaven Sr. and Margaret DeHaven (Thomas); and his daughter Shelley Ann DeHaven. He is survived by: his wife Cherie DeHaven (McKenzie); his children, James E. DeHaven Jr. (Cassie Clark), Scott Alan DeHaven (Becky Shroyer) and Shannon DeHaven (Matt Brehm); his siblings, George C. DeHaven Jr. (Janet DeHaven), Terry DeHaven (Wanda DeHaven) and Gale DeHaven; his grandchildren, Melissa Romesburg, Tonya Der, Jordan Rhoads, Madison Rhoads, Kylye DeHaven, Gavin DeHaven, Haden DeHaven, Kayte DeHaven, Jasmine Clark, Danica Printy, Jackson Printy and Gia DeHaven; and his great grandchildren, Cleo and Ezra Brow. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
