He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. Harris and Viola Sard Harris; his son Dennis James "Pee Wee" Harris; and his siblings, Harry C. Harris, Jr., Irene Mayer, Stanley Harris and Ivan Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Lovie Jane Conley; his daughter-in-law Sharon Greiner of Chester, MD; his grandson Douglas Greiner (Andrea); and his great grandchildren, Quinn and Nolan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
