It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacob A. Gibson Jr. of Cordova, Maryland, born in Easton, Maryland, who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob A. Gibson and Margaret DeFord Gibson; his wife Diane G. Gibson; and his sister Carolyn Faye Connolly. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Kiernan and David Gibson; his granddaughter Emily Kiernan; and his siblings, John Lee Gibson, Malcolm Graeme Gibson and Mary Lou Winstead. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
