It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Gardner of Cordova, Maryland, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ellen Gardner and Mary Hall Gardner; his wife Edna M. Pierce Gardner; his sons, Joseph Lee Gardner and Larrier Walker, Sr.; his stepson Alexander Pierce; his siblings, Catherine Gardner, Mable Williams, Marie Ennals, Mary Magdalene Clayton, Wilbur, Avon and Wm "Billy" Gardner; and his friend Gladys Bailey.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Gardner (Carol), David, Mary C. Gardner of Cordova, Peggy A. Gardner of Hurlock and Tyrone Bailey of Cordova; his grandchildren, Sharon Slacum (Darrence), Reginald Gardner, Sr., Enrika Gardner, Demetrius Fletcher (Ana), Paris, Sherri Copper, Natasha Williams, Jospeh "Lamont" Gardner (Darcel), Raven, Michael, Larrier Walker, Jr. and Michelle Bailey; and his sisters-in-law, Gladys Elliott and Stella Blake. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
