It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabel Violet Shumaker (Conowingo, Maryland), born in Fairhope, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 2, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Joseph A. Shroyer; her husband Francis James Shumaker; her siblings, Cedric Shroyer, Kenneth Shroyer and Phyllis Reger; and her grandson Matthew Michalski.
She is survived by: her parent Carrie E. Shroyer; and her children, Sharen Kitchens (Ernie) of Edgewood, MD, Judith Michalski (Michael) of Conowingo, MD, Sandra Brown (Reginald) of Rising Sun, MD, Lynn Barr (William) of Rising Sun, MD and P. A.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
