It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Bernard Tredway of Conowingo, Maryland, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Dempster and Margaret Louise Denniff Tredway; and his sister Catherine Hess. He is survived by: his wife Judith A. Tredway; his children, Kenneth L. Tredway and Dawn R. Tredway Sauer; his sister Nora Lessard; and his son P. A.. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home (1493 Clayton St, Perryville, MD 21903). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or Tunnel to Towers in care of Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., P.O. Box 766, Perryville, MD 21903-0766.
