He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathryn A. Workman; his parents, Vernon O. Workman and Virginia B. Rutter of Baltimore, MD; his daughters, Mary McCoy (John), Karen Hummer (Brent), Peggy Lynn Starr (Rich) and Vicki Wilhelm (Gary); his brother Charles F. Workman (Charlene); and his grandchildren, John Wesley, Bryant, Jennifer, Korey, Kevin, Andrew, Shelby, Alex, Jeremy, Ashley and Lindsay. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vernon's memory to the American Heart Association.
