He was predeceased by: his father Thomas A. Garland, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Laurel G. Garland; his pet Natty-Boh; his mother Mary R. Garland; his siblings, Jeanne M. Garland, Cathy G. Meyers (Greg), Teresa Garland (Craig Ward) and John X. Garland; and his nieces and nephews, Lily Benjamin, Ethan Meyers, Jesse Matthews, Zachary Matthews, Julia Benjamin, Christian Matthews and Jimmy Garland. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
