She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Barton; her brothers, Morris Abramovitz and David Abramovitz; and her parents, Jeanne Abramovitz and Dr. Leonard Abramovitz.

She is survived by: her daughter Katherine Abramovitz Lynn (Peter Lesko); her sisters, Amy Kahn, Deborah Abramovitz, Lois Abramovitz and Janet Abramovitz (Timothy Pelton); and her grandchildren, Flynn B. Lesko, Sage N. Lesko and Thor L. Lesko. She is also survived by grandmother to her three grandkids.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Small Miracles Cat and Dog Rescue of Ellicott City.
