He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Newman; his daughter Rachel Beth Newman; and his parents, Jay Newman and Alice Newman. He is survived by: his sons, Samuel Newman (Helen) and Joshua Newman; and his brother Bernard Newman (Paulette). He is also survived by five grandchildren.
