She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Ehret and Dorothy Ehret (Slutz); her husband Thomas W. Hatheway; her daughters, Lynn Flynn (Ed Glabus), Paula Menton (Bob) and Jane Maus (Christopher); her son-in-law James Flynn; and her siblings, Mary Lou Szink, Charlene Salapack, Paul, Dr. Donald Ehret and Bob Ehret (Linda) of Lake Helen, FL.. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
