She was predeceased by: her parents, Bartholomew Hartwell and Alice Hartwell (Somerlock). She is survived by: her close friend Tammy Borkowski; and her sisters, Alice Kalamar (Joe) and Joan Johnson (Ken). She is also survived by several nieces; and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Maryland Food Bank.
