He was predeceased by: his wife Celia S. Caplan; and his parents, Charles Isaacs and Anna Isaacs. He is survived by: his children, Charles Caplan (Stephanie Naftaniel) and Abby Caplan; his grandchildren, Cora and Spencer Caplan; and his niece Phyllis Hart.
