He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Mary Collins; and his son Robert Franklyn Collins, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Plourde Appel (Paul); his grandchildren, Timothy Plourde, Jennifer Hyson and Mary Allison Early; and his great grandchildren, Jamey Brooke Hyson and Michelle Mary Plourde.
