He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawrence Calhoun and Lannie Gaddie; his stepfather Hardie Gaddy; and his brother Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Smith of Mullins; his children, Derek Boyd (Nasrin) and Stacey Lee (Brian); his grandchildren, Ariana, Armand, Devin and Flannery; and his sister-in-law Doris Smith. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
