He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Wilbur Whipkey and Catherine Grace Whipkey (Koontz). He is survived by: his wife Linda Miller; his sons, Ian Whipkey (Lynn) of Columbia, MD and Chad Whipkey (Grace) of San Mateo, CA; his grandchildren, Kendall, Sean and Claire; and his brother Richard Whipkey (Rebecca) of Somerset.
