We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, at the age of 71, Michael Eugene Lanspa of Columbia, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Michael Eugene had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Michael Eugene may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernice Mary (Hayes) and Eugene Francis Lanspa; his siblings, Steve, Rosemary and Tom; his wife Carol Diane Beck; and his daughters, Rachel and Erica.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Witzke Funeral Homes (5555 Twin Knolls Rd, Columbia, MD 21045). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish (8300 Old Columbia Rd, Fulton, MD 20759).
