She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Norton Waronoff; her sisters, Wilma Kaner and Lorraine Finbloom; and her parents, Rose Meretsky and Israel "Slaw" Meretsky.

She is survived by: her children, Sandy Freedman, Gayle Fogel (Jeff Shaffer) and Heidi Knight (Richard); her stepchildren, Lisa Barnett (Bill) and Laurie Freeman (Rob); her grandchildren, Shana Freedman, Mitchell Barnett, Victoria Knight, Jason Barnett, Olivia Knight and Amanda Freeman; and her great grandchildren, Avi, Amara, Scarlett and Christopher.
