It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leroy Francis Walling Jr. (Columbia, Maryland), born in Neptune, New Jersey, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Francis Walling and Mary Margaret DeHart Walling; his sister Mary Margaret (Lee); his grandson Jack William; and also, Marianne and David.
He is survived by: his daughter Meredith Alexis Walling (John); his wife Geraldine; his nephews, Kevin, Keith and Karl Torchia; his siblings-in-law, Gerald (Michelle) and Angela (Frank); and also, Justin, Austin, Angelina, Emily, Kyle and Alexis. He is also survived by nephews born of the siblings.
A prayer was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lee's. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the Tuttle Funeral Home (272 NJ-10, Randolph, NJ 07869). Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Witzke Funeral Home (5555 Twin Knolls Rd, Columbia, MD 21045).
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Lee's memory and support for Geraldine's parish to Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4795 Ilchester Road, Ellicott City, MD 21043.
