With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Samuel Simms Jr. of Columbia, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on July 2, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Samuel Simms, Sr. and Mary Roy; his stepfather Aaron Cummings; and his wife Pat. He was also cherished by four Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gilchrist Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
