It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Jay Gitelman of Columbia, Maryland, who passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Joseph shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Joseph farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan Gitelman; his brother Stephen Gitelman; and his parents, Eugene Gitelman and Sylvia Gitelman. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gitelman; his son Jeremy Gitelman (Jessica); his daughter-in-law Amy Gitelman; his sister-in-law Arleen Gitelman; and his grandchildren, Lucas Gitelman and Hannah Gitelman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Columbia Memorial Park (12005 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029).
