Carpenter; her son Robert E.; her wife Terri Carpenter of Columbia, MD; her daughter Carolyn Carpenter of Flint; her grandchildren, Meghan Carpenter and Nathan Carpenter; and her siblings, Ruth Hawkins of Lennon, Richard (Marian Hopkins) of Winona, MN and Joyce (Jim Mauer) of Jackson.
