He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; and his son Jeffrey. He is survived by: his daughter Janice Hyde (James Wozny); his granddaughter Sophia Wozny; and his sister Ann Bornstein (Jon Bornstein). He is also survived by three nieces and several grand nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to local posts of the VFW or to Post 1371 Glenn A. Warner Post, Owego, NY.
