He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Orloff and Herman Orloff; and his brother-in-law Irwin Bobrin. He is survived by: his wife Claire Orloff; his children, Marjorie Waldman (Edward), Michael Orloff (Beth) and Stephen Orloff (Stephanie Desmon); his sister Marilyn Bobrin; his siblings-in-law, Leonard and Janice Freed; his grandchildren, Joseph Waldman (Allie), Gordon Waldman, Ilana Hope Waldman Egert (Daniel Egert), Matthew, Madison and Jacob Orloff; and his great grandchildren, Kaiden Orloff, Emma Waldman, Laurie Carson, Kitt Orloff, Jacob Fey, Callie Fey, Dr. Cody Nathan, Zack Nathan and April Yvonne Garrett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“I have know Hersch and his family for over twenty years. He believed in me before I believed in myself. He was kind, supportive and above all was a man that brought an energy to life with every breathe. His legacy is his family and his family is a testament to all that is good in the world. I truly miss Hersch with all my being as a man and a student of life. The sun will rise tomorrow but be a little less bright with his passing but his memory will continue to light my path.
